What else can I say other than perfection? I had the best Caesar salad ever. The flavor was intense and amazing. The Venison was medium-well as ordered and was a taste of Heaven. My wife had the Atlantic Salmon which was a pure delight. When I find flaws in the food, I never return to the same restaurant, but at One Fifty Five I couldn’t find any.
The food was served in a quick manner and looked as inviting to eat as a fireplace on a cold night. It appeared as if the waitress knew when I needed service. Not once did she bother me with unwelcomed visits the entire time.
The restaurant’s atmosphere was impressive. We felt as if it was as far away from the hustle of everyday life. It was a nice welcome after our busy work days. To summarize our evening together in one word, I choose “Stunning”. I recommend this place to all as I left with no regrets.

one fifty five is an excellent restaurant with a cheerful ambiance. I was there with a group of 11 people for lunch and the service was superb! The food came out looking like a work of art and tasted even better! I would go back again and again.

I went to “one fifty five” with my family after being recommended by friends. We went on a Saturday night with high expectations. The atmosphere was lovely and refreshing, the service very welcoming and attentive. After looking at the menu, we all decided to try different items. I had the caesar salad which I had to admit was the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the scallops and let me have a taste. They were perfectly cooked and had a delightful flavor. The rest of my family had different items all of which had great presentation and delicious flavor they said. We had a great time there.

Excellent food… excellent service. Polished cutlery and glasses. Simple yet artistic decor.
Best food in Muskoka! Ordered the beef carpaccio assembled with fresh spinach, Grana Padano, crispy onions. Shaved ultra thin, well seasoned and marbled. Excellent!!My main was seared Venison tenderloin with fried and “smashed” fingerlings, Onion and Pancetta tartlette, poached spinach and a Cherry Jus.
Not a fan of fingerlings, find them trendy but with little appeal, these were actually very good.
The Venison was served as ordered Medium and a large portion, Excellent !! the Jus blended and complimented the whole dish.
My partner had the Lamb rack, asparagus and mashed, cooked perfectly and again quite a substantial amount, I tasted it but thought the Venison was a better choice, but then again it was uber.
Overall a great experience, very talented chefs and creative dishes.
Reservations recommended as they are small and VERY popular, as they should be.

I have known Michael Rickard for many years and have followed his career with great interest. I have had the opportunity not only to dine at “one fifty five“, where we found the food and service always to be excellent, but also have used Michael’s catering services which were equally superb. I highly recommend Michael and “one fifty five” to my friends and associates.
